Bio
The Rev. William (Bill) G. Pardy
Priest-in-Charge
The Rev. William G. Pardy (Bill) serves as Priest-in-Charge of Church of the Apostles, a community he has come
to love deeply as it grows into its identity in Parrish. A Manatee County native, Fr. Bill’s path to ministry has
been shaped by both struggle and grace. After drifting from church in early adulthood, he returned during a
difficult season of life and found healing through Christian community, discipleship, and recovery. That return to faith slowly became a call to serve the Church as a pastor, priest, and teacher.
Ordained in the Episcopal Diocese of Southwest Florida and formed through Nashotah House Theological
Seminary and the diocesan School for Ministry, Fr. Bill understands ministry as both mission and shared work to
practice stable worship, form disciples, and help people discover that God’s grace is real and present in ordinary
life. His background in child welfare and community ministry continues to shape his pastoral heart and hope to
make it known – Jesus Saves!
Fr. William believes the local parish is a place of hope and healing, where people are nourished by Word and
Sacrament and reminded that their lives belong to God. He seeks to serve with humility and to bring the Church
of the Apostles to people who are searching for hope! The hope is in Christ alone, and Fr Bill believes it is that hope that will grow the church into a steady and faithful witness in Parrish.
Bishop's Council
With support from the Diocese of Southwest Florida, the Bishop’s Council was appointed to guide the mission’s development and provide steady leadership and growth of the life of the congregation, coordinating volunteer ministry, supporting worship and music planning, strengthening outreach and events, caring for the altar guild and liturgical service, and building communication and visibility for Church of the Apostles.
