Dear Church of the Apostles Family,
I want to share a kind letter from Beth VonEnde, who has blessed our parish with her music, her gracious spirit, and her faithful presence among us. Beth has been a gift to our worship life, and I know many of us are grateful for the way she has helped lead us in song and prayer. Beth and her husband have some important time away planned for travel, rest, and enjoyment together. We want to honor that time and bless her in it. We are also deeply thankful that she remains willing to substitute when she is available.
Dear Church of the Apostles,
I cannot tell you how much I have loved playing for the Church of the Apostles. This is one of the ways I worship through playing . The choir was an absolute bonus, and they were so gracious as I found my way back to directing a choir. I have not had the opportunity to direct since 2017! I enjoy working with Father Bill-his enthusiasm and faith! The congregation are true believers and a joy to play for! I truly appreciate the sentiment that I continue when I come back from Wisconsin. I truly want to however; my husband and I have trips planned for the fall.
I would return in the beginning of October but then we are going back to the UK and had chosen to take a cruise bringing us back. I will be gone from October 26 till November 20th! I will be home until May 6th when we go on a Mediterranean Cruise 5/6-5/22. It is important to my husband to take these trips now! He is the only one left of 5 children.
I will be glad to substitute for the church at any time! It would be very wise for the church to find someone younger and knowledgeable of the newer music!
I pray that you will find that perfect fit for the church! Just know, what a pleasure this has been for me! This has been a hard letter to write!
Blessings,
Beth VonEnde
On a personal note, Beth and I have known one another and shared ministry together for quite some time, especially through youth ministry. I am grateful for her friendship, her encouragement, and the gracious way she has continued to share her gifts with the Church.
We are grateful for Beth, for her kindness, and for the beautiful way she has shared her gifts with Church of the Apostles. She has helped us worship well. Her ministry is pastoral heart had been a joy to have on our team. She is truly filled by God’s spirit. Her last Sunday will be June 14th. We will have a special coffee hour in Beth’s honor. I invite you to join us as we thank her, pray for her, and bless her time away with her husband. It will be a simple and joyful way for us to show our appreciation and ask God to give them rest, refreshment, and safe travels. There will be a cake!!
With gratitude,
Fr. Bill
